Autumn

vanishingpirates September 8, 2017 0 Comments

Earth turns her cheek as the year grows
older. Clouds add
their blanket – soon

The darker sky deepens tones of
the earth; water
turns slate – sombre
shades lacking mirth.

Then the sun peaks through the odd patch
of blue – planting
a kiss on a
droplet of dew.
